"If I can race on a broken hip, I can put up with a lot of pain ... I can get through a lot. It's really nothing in the grand scheme of things."
At the Rio Olympics, Tyler Mislawchuk completed the race on a broken hip. He has persevered through broken ribs, jaw, and leg as well. This is one tough dude. He was the youngest competitor at the 2016 Rio Olympics and is one of the top triathletes in the world, with wins at:
- World Triathlon Olympic Test Event in Tokyo
- Huatulco
- Mooloolaba, and several podium finishes.
