Episode Eleven. Kajad Alobeyo: Music Connection, Ancestral Influence, and Free Flow Spiritual Surrender
Kajad Alobeyo is an international performer, songwriter and recording artist. He was born in Congo and came to the US when he was 9. He grew up in Philly which influenced his roots in hip-hop where he gained success locally which then grew into an audience supporting a tour all over the world including Tokyo, Amsterdam and Germany. Kajad has a gift of spinning and connecting deeply with the words and music that he creates and shares. In 2018, he released an album called Zaire, which is a tribute to his musical journey from Africa to the US. In 2020, he appeared on the single Killa Man that was in response to the protests and Black Lives Matter movement. He's currently working on and recording new music to be released soon.
