TRAPHOUSE TRAV

Travis Gayle, also known as Traphouse Trav, was born and raised in Southside Jamaica, Queens, New York. He attributes his passion for expression to his dad's love of music. Gayle has been making music professionally since 2020, but has used writing and poetry to express himself since he was in elementary school. He loves using his platform to tell stories and inspire people. He currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and spends his time as a manager and when not a manager, an artist.

Travis has been using his platform more recently to speak on his experiences with mental health. He aims to increase awareness and believes that it should be talked about more--especially in the hip hop, rap, and Black communities. His latest single, Balcony Blues, aims to do just that.
