Jaxkie Starr, is a once-in-a-generation artist, with commanding poetry and up-tempo beats. This artist is undeniably entertaining. Able to share perspectives this artist can pull you into his world or very quickly join you in yours. An artist destined to touch the world. And he’s the face, voice, and spirit of mylastX

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, this Southern Hearted artist found his love for booming bass and dirty south grit in lyrics from artists like Outkast, Big KRIT, David Banner, and others. However, his life would be changed forever in third grade, and his music taste. Up north in a diverse town named Toledo, OH, he started to be introduced to the sounds of Rock, Pop, and Country. Bands like My Chemical Romance, Green Day, Linkin Park, and many others. This diverse introduction to different music heavily shaped little Jaxkie’s sound to come in the future. He began writing music very briefly in the 9th grade and then stopped to pursue physical activities, much later in life (2020) after an injury he would find himself confined to a room incapable of walking, broken physically and emotionally this artist chose to start writing music again. In late 2021, after finally being able to walk again, he entered the studio for the first time, highly nervous, and in contrast, he recorded his first song “B.R.S.”, which stands for Black Rock Star.

As an artist, he hopes to be an inspiration and beacon of hope to those that are lost, having dealt with mental health issues from the most painful heartbreak in his life. He hopes to be a voice for the voiceless, while so many go unheard. A young visionary and born leader pushes this artist to carry out his destiny. He hopes that through his pain, you will begin to learn that you are never alone, even in a world in which we feel we don’t belong. As a musician, he wants to reunite listeners on a deeper level.
