So she knows as well as anyone that healthcare policy is extremely complex and its repercussions can be life-altering for individuals and families. In this week’s episode, she shares her perspective on how the pandemic has affected healthcare providers, and where state and federal healthcare policy initiatives is likely to be focused for the immediate future.

The Take-Away: The relaxation of regulatory policies during the Covid-19 pandemic showed that the healthcare system can function in a less restrictive environment. This provides regulatory agencies with evidence that it may be advisable for some of the Covid-related regulatory changes to become permanent.
