Dr. Jesus Hernandez-Burgos was born in Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico. Dr.Jesus was an active drag performer in Puerto Rico until 2015. Dr.Jesus won 8 crowns and pageants, including two international crowns in England and Costa Rica. Dr.Jesus achieved a doctoral degree in Public Health with focus in Epidemiology. Before leaving from Puerto Rico Dr.Jesus founded Miss Gay Puerto Rico, Inc. a non-profit organization that promote HIV and domestic violence awareness. As an known advocate in Puerto Rico and also in the entertainment industry within the LGBTIQ+ community in Puerto Rico and cities in the US and Latin America Dr.Jesus started the podcast YA con Yeveah Altieri, with a combination of those experiences to empower current drag performers, the spanish speaking LGBTIQ+ community to promote wellness within our relationships. Also, the show gives some beauty and fashion insights within the drag pageantry industry.
