Truth be told that all of us are programmed to live life linearly. However, we all have a choice to be our authentic selves. When we think, act unconventionally, and nurture the sparks of passion and curiosity, we appreciate life and significantly impact others.
Join us as we have a licensed clinical psychologist, speaker, author, podcaster, and the Founding Director of the Center for Global Initiatives Dr. Chris Stout, to share how he became an accidental humanitarian, his introduction to psychology, how to live life on your terms, and the benefits of having a portfolio career.
Dr. Chris’ career includes business, government, nonprofits, the UN, and academia. He published 38 books and won many accolades, including four additional doctorates (honoris causa) and invitations to TEDs, Davos, and Renaissance Weekends. He has traveled to over 100 countries and founded a kindergarten in Tanzania. He is one of TED-Founder Richard Saul Wurman’s “Who’s Really Who 1000: The Most Creative Individuals in America.” Purdue has named a scholarship in his honor.
