CHELSEY:

Hi, how are you?

CHELSEY:

I'm good.

CHELSEY:

Welcome everybody.

CHELSEY:

Who's reviews We're just like Siskel and Ebert only instead of reviewing cinematic

CHELSEY:

reviews And that's Trey, Gerrald These crowns are heavy, you know, but somebody's got to wear them,

CHELSEY:

Shh wants to be logical all the time.

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

How's your week been Trey How you doing?

CHELSEY:

Please do reveal.

CHELSEY:

How cute is that?

CHELSEY:

Perfect.

CHELSEY:

I'm going virtual with my crown today.

TREY:

is

CHELSEY:

Of course.

CHELSEY:

Yes.

CHELSEY:

Yes.

CHELSEY:

Let's hear it.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

He helped you cheat on the parallel parking portion Cheaters never

CHELSEY:

win

CHELSEY:

Yeah, I'd

CHELSEY:

be interested in looking up the history of parallel parking.

CHELSEY:

I mean, I feel like it's space efficient.

CHELSEY:

I think that that's probably, yeah.

CHELSEY:

How it came to be, but I hear you.

CHELSEY:

I'm a pretty good parallel Parker.

CHELSEY:

I was taught by, um, my dad's office.

CHELSEY:

Manager's ex-husband who used to fix Greyhound buses.

CHELSEY:

And so he had to parallel park a Greyhound bus

CHELSEY:

but when you.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

When you learn how to parallel park from someone who parks like Greyhound buses,

CHELSEY:

He also used his body instead of a cone.

CHELSEY:

Like he's stood as if he were the car, which is, has said something about him

TREY:

so everyone's

CHELSEY:

Um, God forbid, you'd knock your side view mirror off.

TREY:

I agree

CHELSEY:

My weekend is good.

CHELSEY:

I still like have a bit of an issue with Murphy and apparently like retrograde and all that.

CHELSEY:

My air conditioning is still not working.

CHELSEY:

It's like a huge heat wave here right now.

CHELSEY:

Thank God for fans.

CHELSEY:

I got a fan.

CHELSEY:

So life has been better.

CHELSEY:

If you hear the fan in the background, I apologize.

CHELSEY:

It's not going off.

CHELSEY:

Disclaimer,

CHELSEY:

I'm going to lodge a complaint today against paper receipts

CHELSEY:

It needs.

CHELSEY:

It's done.

CHELSEY:

We need to be done with paper receipts.

CHELSEY:

I don't know anyone who's successfully saved a paper receipts.

CHELSEY:

You know, I do my taxes, but like, I can't be responsible for holding

CHELSEY:

I mean, I've, I've done taxes for clients before who keep all of their, their receipts.

CHELSEY:

and in like boxes.

CHELSEY:

And then by the time I looked at it to help them file the ink is smudged off.

CHELSEY:

deteriorated to near nothing.

CHELSEY:

The fact that we are wasting trees for this purpose of paper receipts, and the

CHELSEY:

I mean, I was there this morning.

CHELSEY:

It's absolutely ridiculous.

CHELSEY:

Like you go in, I buy Tylenol.

CHELSEY:

My receipt could line the parking lot.

CHELSEY:

Like it was just out of control how big this receipt is.

CHELSEY:

They're giving me coupons that they know I'm not going to use.

CHELSEY:

It's wasteful, you know, it's wasteful I'm over it.

CHELSEY:

We need a new way.

CHELSEY:

It's 2021 Enough

CHELSEY:

more

CHELSEY:

more wasteful?

CHELSEY:

Yes.

TREY:

Just folded.

TREY:

it's

CHELSEY:

I know, I just think we gotta do something about this.

CHELSEY:

Let's create a mandate.

CHELSEY:

I mean, we can start in California and New York as things usually do.

CHELSEY:

I'm Lodging a complaint.

CHELSEY:

Thank you.

CHELSEY:

I agree.

CHELSEY:

I'm just

CHELSEY:

so glad I got to get that off my chest and say that.

CHELSEY:

And now I would love to hear what some other people have to say.

CHELSEY:

What about you?

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

As you know, we are your trusty review Queens.

CHELSEY:

We each bring in a review from the internet that we feel needs to be inspected.

CHELSEY:

We read you the review, we break it down and then we rate the impact of the review

CHELSEY:

It's a very Regal process that we call.

CHELSEY:

Kvetch It means complain like, oh, stop kvetching You're complaining so much.

CHELSEY:

Exactly

TREY:

It

CHELSEY:

rolls right off the tongue.

CHELSEY:

Really.

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

Trey Guess what we We don't have to ask who goes first, today?

CHELSEY:

Did you know that?

CHELSEY:

Because we have a special edition episode today.

CHELSEY:

Wow.

CHELSEY:

Episode four.

CHELSEY:

And that's exactly what we have in store for you today.

CHELSEY:

When we have these special edition episodes, we will flip a coin to determine

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

call it in the air.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

In the air.

CHELSEY:

I'm ready Yes.

CHELSEY:

Heads.

CHELSEY:

Yes.

CHELSEY:

And that means that you are going to be going first, right?

CHELSEY:

Cause you're going to be reading the one-star review.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

Huge.

CHELSEY:

Do we think it's like short for like spin fool?

CHELSEY:

Like I'm a spin Bo maybe.

CHELSEY:

try to incorporate that into my bias.

CHELSEY:

Yes,

TREY:

from your bias

CHELSEY:

Let's hear

CHELSEY:

it.

CHELSEY:

Wow.

CHELSEY:

Celeste w sounds like she was traumatized a little bit.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

TREY:

All

CHELSEY:

Well, I was getting a little bit of Karen vibes.

CHELSEY:

I'm not going to lie.

CHELSEY:

However, what I was intrigued by was we're, we're declaring that we have evidence, we

CHELSEY:

So if that's true, According to the language, you know, that, that she was

CHELSEY:

There would be evidence of that.

CHELSEY:

So I would want to call her into question and say, maybe she's, you know,

CHELSEY:

And I think that that is pretty unacceptable.

CHELSEY:

I think so.

CHELSEY:

I mean, you know, me, I like vibes I need good vibes.

CHELSEY:

I need good energy.

CHELSEY:

So like the fact that he was like, I'm going to predict that you have a bad wedding.

CHELSEY:

That's like, that's.

CHELSEY:

a No, no with me, I would not want to go with anybody that had even the smallest

CHELSEY:

So if I were to read this review, yeah, I think there'll be a very large part

CHELSEY:

In some cases like I'll knock off a couple of crowns for that because yeah.

CHELSEY:

We're not really talking about the actual experience.

CHELSEY:

However, in the wedding industry specifically, let's say I'm going to the knot, it's a service

CHELSEY:

I want to know, even sometimes more than that, the day of the event,

CHELSEY:

I'm getting into bed with this person for several months, leading up to the wedding.

CHELSEY:

What is that interaction going to be with?

CHELSEY:

And if I'm going to sense that this is going to be trouble, that I'm going to get pushed

CHELSEY:

That's something that I would want to know.

CHELSEY:

So I am curious about the pre wedding process, and I think a lot of people

CHELSEY:

planning is the thing, you know, like it is all, it's a year of planning for a day that.

CHELSEY:

Is over like that, the rest of your life and please have wonderful wedding.

CHELSEY:

Um,

CHELSEY:

The o Gotcha.

CHELSEY:

This is likely a first draft from Celeste.

CHELSEY:

Uh, along those lines, if I am going to knock off a couple pounds, possibly, I'm not

CHELSEY:

No, that's not true.

CHELSEY:

There are professional DJs, they're professional for a reason, they keep the energy going.

CHELSEY:

They have so many skills.

CHELSEY:

I've gone to weddings where they've like pressed a Spotify playlist.

CHELSEY:

And it is nowhere near the same as having a professional DJ.

CHELSEY:

Who's like really able to just take in the energy of the crowd and work with people.

CHELSEY:

And so I think that was a bit of an over-step

CHELSEY:

maybe.

TREY:

I do feel like that was a little bit, you know,

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

And then the Karen bites came a little bit cause she was like, I forwarded the emails

CHELSEY:

I mean, there are a lot of emotions surrounding planning this, so I'm not going to negate

CHELSEY:

It's a big day.

CHELSEY:

And I think she probably was thrown.

CHELSEY:

Um, if in fact she was called, you know, a clown,

CHELSEY:

it does seem like a, like an insult from a DJ for some reason.

CHELSEY:

I think she's being truthful, especially like I started to say with the, the

CHELSEY:

I mean, I guess she could be lying, but I don't know why she would, unless she's like a competitor

CHELSEY:

I think to say like, I have emails like this person said this, I have emails.

CHELSEY:

I forwarded along to the Knot I think she is being honest.

CHELSEY:

About her experience.

CHELSEY:

I don't know that this is a typical experience though.

CHELSEY:

Yes.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

I'm glad that you brought that up because I meant to ask that and then I forgot.

CHELSEY:

So it felt like we very quickly got from, like, I reached out to him to like all

CHELSEY:

And I I'm like, maybe I miss something in there, but like, so, so she reached

CHELSEY:

Got it.

TREY:

And

CHELSEY:

So they were very busy, so they didn't like respond right away.

CHELSEY:

That's interesting.

CHELSEY:

It's a good point to be like, when do you call him ignorant?

CHELSEY:

Is it that Celeste was like, we want, like, we're really interested in you.

CHELSEY:

Like, we are ready to like pull the trigger or these are the dates that we want.

CHELSEY:

And they were all in for Spynfo and then didn't respond right away.

CHELSEY:

So they found somebody else.

CHELSEY:

And then.

CHELSEY:

Yeah, you're right.

CHELSEY:

It shouldn't really be a factor.

CHELSEY:

I wasn't like, I wasn't bored to death, but I wouldn't say that I was like thrilled.

CHELSEY:

If we were in previews for this show, I would think this isn't going to

CHELSEY:

They need it punched up.

CHELSEY:

I do think it's a deal breaker, which I think makes it impactful.

CHELSEY:

Like I said, it's really the energy, the vibe thing.

CHELSEY:

That's super important to me.

CHELSEY:

I'm very gun shy about that stuff.

CHELSEY:

So if I heard that there was somebody in what I consider to be very much a service

CHELSEY:

It's like, you know, it's been followed, take the higher road.

CHELSEY:

If she's not interested in you.

CHELSEY:

Thank you, next We just don't know the context, I guess.

CHELSEY:

Exactly.

CHELSEY:

I think that that's, what's hard is like, I do think that's maybe where

CHELSEY:

I wonder if, if we've omitted some of the information to make ourselves look better

CHELSEY:

hear you.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

I, I do think there might be a factor here where Celeste is, is burying a bit of the lead.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

I feel like I have enough information to crown it.

VOICEOVER:

All right, Trey.

VOICEOVER:

Are you ready?

CHELSEY:

Okay, I'm ready too.

CHELSEY:

Oh.

CHELSEY:

Interesting.

CHELSEY:

Trey is holding up two crowns I gave Celeste three crowns.

CHELSEY:

I took away some points for the grammar, for the bias, uh, for the potential bias.

CHELSEY:

I shall say I also, I gave her points because personally energy

CHELSEY:

So I do think this would impact.

CHELSEY:

My, I I'm just super sensitive, especially with events like this.

CHELSEY:

I want to make sure that the PR person is perfect.

CHELSEY:

So I'm not going to lie.

CHELSEY:

If I read a review like this, I might be like, Ooh, that's, that's a bit of a turnoff.

CHELSEY:

I don't want to move forward.

CHELSEY:

I would need a personal reference for Spynfo to supersede this review.

CHELSEY:

So, because she's influenced me personally, that degree, I felt like I had to give her

CHELSEY:

I think that that's a good point.

CHELSEY:

I didn't know that it was littered amongst five star reviews.

CHELSEY:

That being said, because we are doing a one and five.

CHELSEY:

I'm super curious to hear what the next review has to say, because maybe.

CHELSEY:

I'm going to want to make a, make a, a change here to my review of Celeste but

CHELSEY:

oh, there's a reply y Yeah

CHELSEY:

Oh my God.

CHELSEY:

Hold on.

CHELSEY:

Let me get that.

CHELSEY:

Oh,

CHELSEY:

my goodness.

CHELSEY:

Wow.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

This, this really does change the game a little bit.

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

I'm going to try to do Spynfo some justice here.

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

This is completely inaccurate.

CHELSEY:

My reviews and years of work, speak for itself for someone to take this much time out of their day to

CHELSEY:

The number that I called didn't work, and this is her response From Celeste.

CHELSEY:

W did you read the email at 11:10 where I provided you with my number to call me?

CHELSEY:

Why you given me your number to call you?

CHELSEY:

I see you're too busy for me and my special event.

CHELSEY:

Never mind.

CHELSEY:

I will go back on Knots and get another DJ.

CHELSEY:

This is too much back and forth for me.

CHELSEY:

and I have enough to do as it is.

CHELSEY:

Thank you.

CHELSEY:

But no, thanks.

CHELSEY:

We will look elsewhere.

CHELSEY:

I asked you to stop emailing after I realized you weren't serious and you began to send

CHELSEY:

I wish you the best.

CHELSEY:

For those interested in booking DJ Spynfo AKA Mr.

CHELSEY:

Matrimony, please refer to www.djspynfo.net Oh my God.

CHELSEY:

I have a whole new opinion.

CHELSEY:

of Celeste.

CHELSEY:

I got to say for the listeners who.

CHELSEY:

Are not seeing what I'm seeing.

CHELSEY:

Trey mentioned again, not that this is the majority of what we're grading things on,

CHELSEY:

And in fact did say the whole thing about God punishing him, wow.

CHELSEY:

I just, this is why it's important that we have a reply It's amazing though because

CHELSEY:

You know, he's doing it to be a little shady, but like this is his business.

CHELSEY:

And if, if that's true and like we were saying before, it did seem like Celeste

CHELSEY:

So if this in fact is the rest of the story and she was harassing him via email after like giving

CHELSEY:

That Celeste W gave him the wrong number?

CHELSEY:

I really gave Celeste W too much credit.

CHELSEY:

I feel pretty swayed.

CHELSEY:

I think there would be a part of me.

CHELSEY:

That's like, who is this guy?

CHELSEY:

Like, I don't know, but like, there wouldn't be drama cause I wouldn't come at somebody like that.

CHELSEY:

So I don't like that.

CHELSEY:

The, I still don't like the fact that he was like, your wedding is going to be horrible.

CHELSEY:

If in fact he did say that he didn't negate it.

CHELSEY:

He didn't say, I didn't say that.

CHELSEY:

He didn't say I didn't call her clown.

CHELSEY:

He didn't, he, you know, he didn't redact.

CHELSEY:

Any of the things that she accused him of saying, and I still think it's wrong.

CHELSEY:

And I don't, I wouldn't want a DJ who is going to clap back like that.

CHELSEY:

But we're clearly seeing now that DJ Spynfo was provoked.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

TREY:

here's we

CHELSEY:

email me.

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

I feel even more intrigued to read that five star review.

CHELSEY:

Now I feel like maybe I did DJ Spynfo a little bit wrong, but I'm not

CHELSEY:

Cause I still don't like the clown thing.

CHELSEY:

However, I wonder.

CHELSEY:

If clown was said first or the Hulk was said first.

CHELSEY:

Cause that to me is hilarious as well.

CHELSEY:

The fact that, that she said that God was going to punish him and that she planned on getting him

CHELSEY:

Yeah, I would be disturbed as he says.

CHELSEY:

All right, DJ, Spynfo You might've gotten me back with your reply More to come

CHELSEY:

I'm knocking Celeste down to two crowns, for sure.

CHELSEY:

With the possibility even giving one crown, depending on what I hear in

TREY:

As we

CHELSEY:

Wow.

CHELSEY:

I am secure on this pony.

CHELSEY:

Um, thank you for making sure that I had my seatbelt on.

CHELSEY:

You're always looking out for me.

CHELSEY:

I think you're, let's see.

CHELSEY:

I think maybe you're on like, like a horse, but like with wings, what is that called?

CHELSEY:

Pegasus I get it.

CHELSEY:

I did that now as an adult, sometimes I have to get on carousels with like my niece and

CHELSEY:

That's what the bench is really for.

CHELSEY:

They're too little to be on the horse.

CHELSEY:

So then you have to sit with them on the bench and like watch everybody else having fun,

TREY:

today

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

Here's the deal Trey and I are each going to pick, or we already picked a rotten scathing pithy

CHELSEY:

We will take turns, trying to recite the zinger in as many genres as possible.

CHELSEY:

Before the clock runs out.

CHELSEY:

It's up to you.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

Trey is going to go first.

CHELSEY:

Um, so take it away.

CHELSEY:

Trey Okay.

CHELSEY:

All right, Trey.

CHELSEY:

Are you ready?

CHELSEY:

Okay, take it away.

CHELSEY:

Lifetime

CHELSEY:

televangelist,

CHELSEY:

musical theater.

CHELSEY:

My not and goat.

CHELSEY:

give you credit for mime First of all, Trey I don't know why you're always

CHELSEY:

You're excellent.

CHELSEY:

At this game, you did very well.

CHELSEY:

You got 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 in, and that was a pretty lengthy one star zinger.

CHELSEY:

So I'm proud of you Okay.

CHELSEY:

So now it is my turn.

CHELSEY:

This is a Zoc doc review of a primary care physician.

CHELSEY:

We're steering I ever had coming into the doc doctor's office.

CHELSEY:

So I think, and, and it just says verified patient, Tim D.

CHELSEY:

So I think what T Tim D meant to say is that it was the worst experience he

CHELSEY:

But in honor of honoring Tim D I will be reading worst spirits I ever

CHELSEY:

Thank you.

CHELSEY:

This is, this is going to be a tough one, but all right, let's do it.

CHELSEY:

Worst spirits I ever had coming into the office.

CHELSEY:

Well, coming into the doc doctor's office.

CHELSEY:

can't do

CHELSEY:

You cannot do a Southern accent after you do an org New York accent right away.

CHELSEY:

Or maybe you can

TREY:

I it's

CHELSEY:

except your win.

CHELSEY:

earned it.

CHELSEY:

You did excellent.

CHELSEY:

I can't, I always can do a Southern accent or Spire inside your head

CHELSEY:

I just want to confirm that I could do it.

TREY:

the

CHELSEY:

You're right.

CHELSEY:

And most days I do feel like an i can't and I'm working on that.

CHELSEY:

This five star review of DJ Spynfo was written by LaQuawn L without further ado, I

CHELSEY:

Before my wife and I arrived to the reception.

CHELSEY:

We can hear the party was already jumpin and getting jealous.

CHELSEY:

So we couldn't wait to get out there.

CHELSEY:

My guests were like, we were literally on the dance floor.

CHELSEY:

As soon as we arrived to the reception, the music was just that good.

CHELSEY:

Our crowd was diverse.

CHELSEY:

I mean, we had everyone from the west Indies to Africa, to Europe, to Asia at our

CHELSEY:

DJ Spynfo gave us, we got so many, that was the best wedding I've ever been to comments

CHELSEY:

DJ Spynfo kept the crowd.

CHELSEY:

Engaged, played everything from the good to the hood.

CHELSEY:

And somehow had my Japanese mother in her kimono, swag, surfing and Palancing

CHELSEY:

Keep the party going from the beginning to the end.

CHELSEY:

Man.

CHELSEY:

He was even in the crowd dancing at some point.

CHELSEY:

Thanks for the amazing memories.

CHELSEY:

He is a dope DJ and MC book him don't think twice you, your family and friends

CHELSEY:

Okay, LaQuwan I'm hearing this.

TREY:

So

CHELSEY:

okay.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

Fair fair.

CHELSEY:

Yes,

CHELSEY:

Yeah.

CHELSEY:

And you touched on what I said before.

CHELSEY:

When I got a little bit peeved with Celeste, when she made the dig about, you

CHELSEY:

Like the real job of the DJ is to keep the crowd going, like, is the crowd not digging this?

CHELSEY:

Like then we got to pivot and it sounds like that DJ Spynfo really did deliver.

CHELSEY:

There were quite a few spelling and just copy editing errors.

CHELSEY:

in this, I will say there were a few times when I was like, am I reading that, you know, accurately?

CHELSEY:

Um, so wasn't, you know, this was written very, very quickly and sort of half hazardly

CHELSEY:

I don't, I don't think that was super important to LaQuwan

CHELSEY:

As you know, neither here nor there in terms of whether or not we believe that

:

very

CHELSEY:

pleased.

TREY:

of

CHELSEY:

I think, I think they gave us like some visual, like even again,

CHELSEY:

But even the idea of like getting to your wedding, maybe you just took some pictures

CHELSEY:

It sounds like good time in there.

CHELSEY:

Like.

CHELSEY:

I thought that was, they definitely painted some good pictures for us.

CHELSEY:

I'll say that.

CHELSEY:

And they hit a lot of things that I think would be important to people like the fact

CHELSEY:

Like you're going to have some people that don't resonate with certain music.

CHELSEY:

it seems like DJ Spynfo at least gave everybody a taste of, of what they like And that's like

CHELSEY:

And as you mentioned before, it does say that DJ Spynfo is also like an M.

CHELSEY:

more of an emcee DJ Yeah.

CHELSEY:

So it sounds like he's delivering on both fronts.

CHELSEY:

appologize But that's like, that's a taste thing right?

CHELSEY:

So like not every DJ is for everyone.

CHELSEY:

I think that that's okay.

CHELSEY:

Like I think even if you read this five star review and you're like, Ooh, I don't really

CHELSEY:

Like, I don't think I'm gonna buy it Really very, you know, you get a couple

CHELSEY:

I could be like leading that dance for, or, or I could be not.

CHELSEY:

And just like sitting down, cause my feet hurt really bad, which usually also happens.

CHELSEY:

So I tend to flip flop, but I will say like, I dunno, I have it on my husband yet, so who knows.

CHELSEY:

But on the day of my wedding, I, I already have anxiety.

CHELSEY:

About needing to be the lead dancer at the affair, because I think that there's pressure

CHELSEY:

uh, and the Hora the hora the horah the hora the hora We all know what we're talking about.

CHELSEY:

The Hora

CHELSEY:

no, it's okay.

CHELSEY:

No, the Hora can, can.

CHELSEY:

Oh, I think is it something with cloth

TREY:

Yeah

CHELSEY:

I think the David's more, it comes from a more religious family than I do, but that

CHELSEY:

They were serving the cake and they were still doing the Hora.

CHELSEY:

At your Oh, okay.

CHELSEY:

I get how it can happen.

CHELSEY:

Those elbows are high.

TREY:

a

TREY:

leg I

CHELSEY:

broke a lag.

TREY:

face

CHELSEY:

cause it's like, you're always, you're locking arms with

CHELSEY:

It's like, I go to lock arms with you and then wouldn't be the first person

CHELSEY:

All right.

CHELSEY:

Back to the review at hand point is I think we have to eliminate our own taste from.

CHELSEY:

The assessment of the review itself, I will say it's interesting that you

CHELSEY:

Is this somebody that is writing a fake review?

CHELSEY:

It did a little bit Maybe LaQwan L took it seriously.

CHELSEY:

And before he wrote this review was like, let me hit all the points that somebody would want

CHELSEY:

So I'm going to hit the point about them being, you know, energetic that, about them being

CHELSEY:

Just like everybody's saying that it was the best wedding ever.

CHELSEY:

Like all those things I think are what you want when you're looking for a DJ.

CHELSEY:

So only because I really feel like in almost a calculated way, we hit

CHELSEY:

Maybe it's a cynical side of me, but there is part of me that's like, is

CHELSEY:

So I had that feeling as well.

CHELSEY:

You mentioned that there were a lot of five star reviews, like, so all of them, except

CHELSEY:

To me.

CHELSEY:

That's sometimes suspect too.

CHELSEY:

I'm going to be honest.

CHELSEY:

We could have some big ones in there, but going off of, just LaQuwan I'm ready to crown too.

CHELSEY:

Okay.

CHELSEY:

I have my card, so

CHELSEY:

Unanimous.

CHELSEY:

We both have four crowns Trey, why did you get four crowns?

CHELSEY:

I think four is a very respectable score and that's personally why I gave LaQuwan my

CHELSEY:

I thought it was dynamic.

CHELSEY:

I thought we had a lot of visuals.

CHELSEY:

I knew who was there.

CHELSEY:

I knew I loved the detail about the mom and the kimono.

CHELSEY:

And those kinds of details did make me feel like this was an authentic review.

CHELSEY:

This was an experience that was happening to more people other than just LaQuwan

CHELSEY:

So for me, I'm giving LaQuwan no questions, four crowns Wow.

CHELSEY:

I think Celeste is shady a little bit.

CHELSEY:

I think that Celeste, um, lied by, by omission.

CHELSEY:

She sort of was poking the bear.

CHELSEY:

It sounds like, and that, you know, DJ Spynfo yeah.

CHELSEY:

Responding to being poked.

CHELSEY:

So I'm going to say contrary to what I said earlier, and again, willing to admit when

CHELSEY:

And I would say that most people can expect to have a jammin time and be fully entertained.

CHELSEY:

And up off the floor, doing things that are way more exciting than the electric slide and

CHELSEY:

completely agree.

CHELSEY:

And I think that that's why this segment is so important to do the one and the

CHELSEY:

And the reality is we can't.

CHELSEY:

please Everyone.

CHELSEY:

We are looking at things in a vacuum because we're a fun show and we're reviewing the reviewer and

CHELSEY:

And I love this segment because it shows us that.

CHELSEY:

I am inducting a very special woman named Terri Cole who is extremely influential to me.

CHELSEY:

Um, she is a life coach guru.

CHELSEY:

She was my personal therapist when I was living in New York and I cry At least once a week that

CHELSEY:

But that being said, she is not practicing on a one-on-one because she is changing the world and

CHELSEY:

And she's a boss.

CHELSEY:

And if you have trouble having boundaries with people, I recommend looking up Terri Cole.

CHELSEY:

Beyond the fact that she has so many programs and things that you can sign up for.

CHELSEY:

The thing that I love the best about Terri is that she has so much free content out there,

CHELSEY:

And she is committed to providing value for so many people.

CHELSEY:

And she does that for me.

CHELSEY:

And she does that for thousands of other people.

CHELSEY:

I am just so excited to induct Terri Cole buy her book Boundary Boss I love you Ter You're awesome.

CHELSEY:

And thank God for people like you.

CHELSEY:

Do you have someone.

TREY:

what that a of

CHELSEY:

Oh, I love that.

CHELSEY:

Uh, I cannot even believe it.

CHELSEY:

We are four episodes in guys.

CHELSEY:

Thank you so much for joining us today.

THEME SONG:

Review

TREY:

Hi,

TREY:

I'm so good.

TREY:

How are you?

CHELSEY:

listening

TREY:

Welcome listeners.

TREY:

Here we are episode four.

TREY:

Welcome to review that review the podcast dedicated to reviewing

TREY:

that's Chelsey Donn And when we come together, we form,

TREY:

we don't have to wear them.

TREY:

It's a podcast.

CHELSEY:

Who

TREY:

I'm really good.

TREY:

oh, I was waiting to make a reveal for you.

TREY:

this is an old hat from my favorite coffee shop in key west called the Cuban coffee queen

TREY:

for the listeners it has a crown on it.

TREY:

I was going for a walk around the neighborhood with Winnie and I put the hat

TREY:

Oh, you got your sticker on.

TREY:

Um, you did that really fast.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

Anyway, so you asked me how my week's going My week going great.

TREY:

Um, it's been a very good week.

TREY:

I, um, have been activated and motivated and things are really good.

TREY:

That, that doesn't mean that I don't have, um, a complaint that I need to lodge

TREY:

Chelsey I really want to lodge a complaint against parallel parking I'm not sure if actually

TREY:

And the, he knew that at the DMV, at the South Carolina location, there was

TREY:

And he calculated all you had to do was line that little square of white masking tape up to.

TREY:

The far off stop sign in the distance.

TREY:

And that was how sharp or steep to turn the wheel to perfectly pull in to the one test parallel

TREY:

Yes.

TREY:

So I.

TREY:

Cheaters, never win.

TREY:

Anytime I have to parallel park, I I'm reminded of this instance, but I will also share that

TREY:

out It becomes like a math equation to me because I don't have that sticker anyway.

TREY:

So I'm lodging a complaint against that instructor who taught a 14 year old me that cheating

TREY:

Also, I just do want to Lodage a Complaint against the idea of parallel parking, whose idea was that?

TREY:

Who, who had like a, a 19 whatever Ford where you had to wind the thing in the front, like

TREY:

I think that we should start parking these in a parallel fashion

TREY:

Yes,

TREY:

What

TREY:

I've never considered.

TREY:

I get anxious.

TREY:

Cause those spots are usually like on a heavy street, like a heavy

TREY:

It's one way street.

TREY:

And yeah.

TREY:

Their honking you're in their way.

TREY:

Everyone's busy.

TREY:

You're taking time to not knock your side-view mirror off.

CHELSEY:

Oh

TREY:

Anyway.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

So that's my complaint.

TREY:

Let's all have a little more compassion for people trying to successfully pillar

TREY:

How's your week.

TREY:

Fair.

CHELSEY:

It's

TREY:

CVS.

TREY:

Yep.

TREY:

Those, um, receipt, coupon, receipts, they are even thicker.

TREY:

Have you ever noticed that the paper's a little bit thicker,

CHELSEY:

Yeah trees

TREY:

even more wasteful?

TREY:

I just saw a meme actually this week.

TREY:

Hilariously Of, you know, those like, um, I think of them as being in like beach condos,

TREY:

the meme is like, one of them is a CVS receipt.

TREY:

like fixed my broken blinds, like so funny to me.

TREY:

Good job.

TREY:

That's a really good, really good complaint.

TREY:

I think that we can move forward now with our heads lifted high

TREY:

and our, our, our chest.

TREY:

Cavity's a little higher and

TREY:

lighter

TREY:

Me too.

TREY:

I think that we should do that.

TREY:

But Chelsey for those people who don't speak Yiddish what does that word mean?

TREY:

Oy Gavelt Hm That's right every now and then Chelsey and I will bring in a one star review as

TREY:

And then the final say it goes to us the review.

TREY:

Queens We're just so sporty that way.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

Chelsey I have a handy-dandy quarter.

TREY:

Um, you I'll flip it and then you call Ready

TREY:

it's heads.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

So that means you get to read the five star review.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

This week, we're both doing, uh, reviews from the very, very expansive website.

TREY:

The knot.com.

TREY:

And we're gonna each read, um, a one star and a five star review of a wedding DJ.

TREY:

And the company is called Spynfo And Mr.

TREY:

Matrimony, just for reference, Spynfo is spelled S P Y N F O.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

I looked him up.

TREY:

He's very attractive, but neither here nor there.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

Um, all right.

TREY:

yes, please take, please take attractiveness away

TREY:

bias

CHELSEY:

I will

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

I'm gonna start with the one-star review This review is by Celeste w one star.

TREY:

I reached out to DJ Spynfo and decided to caps, not utilize his services since it became apparent.

TREY:

His schedule was too busy.

TREY:

Once I declined to services, he reduced himself to calling me, quote, unquote, ignorant.

TREY:

Now what mature man argues with a woman over declining service.

TREY:

I never once attacked him first.

TREY:

I never gave him a reason to call me ignorant.

TREY:

Then he continued and called me a clown.

TREY:

Clearly he has reached a point where he believes he can be rude and disrespectful.

TREY:

All caps, shame on you for your foul language.

TREY:

I think he should invest in a class for people skills.

TREY:

The direction he decided to take was very unprofessional.

TREY:

I saved caps all the corresponding caps, emails as proof.

TREY:

I reported him to caps, KNOT K N O T this website and forwarded the emails.

TREY:

Then when the name calling wasn't enough for him, he predicted I would not have a

TREY:

Great is your spouse.

TREY:

Furthermore NYC has plenty of talented, skilled DJs.

TREY:

And with the assistance of a computer, you can get music anywhere.

TREY:

She was.

TREY:

fed up right.

TREY:

So what do you think what's your first impression of uh this one star review from Celeste?

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

And I'm not sure if you can upload images to reviews on the knot.

TREY:

I don't know if you can or not, but there is no photographic evidence.

TREY:

I think if, if that had been attached, then case shut Do you think this is a valuable review?

TREY:

Or do you think this information is pertinent?

TREY:

It is a real, um, that's a real dig, you know, I do think it's interesting to note

TREY:

They didn't even hire them and then decided to even leave a review to alert

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

I was going to say that as well.

TREY:

Like when you were planning a wedding, it is outrageously, um, all involving and stressful to

CHELSEY:

The

TREY:

You'll remember you know, the spelling.

TREY:

And there, there are a couple of, um, spelling and spelling issues here.

TREY:

One, one right off the bat as my largest pet peeve with misspelling is when

TREY:

When it became apparent his schedule was too busy, but she's Celeste spelled it t

TREY:

There was another one I thought of when I was reading and, oh, there she's missing.

TREY:

Celeste is missing a space here between spouse and furthermore, you can read, oh, there's a

TREY:

You can, you can read and get the point, but I don't think that Celeste did a spellcheck pass on.

TREY:

this

TREY:

I'm very excited for this episode because I'm ready for the five-star and cause

TREY:

Uh, so it's exactly what you're saying there.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

We're focusing on the negative one-star review right now, but um, if you were

TREY:

Then, then you're not looking for the services of DJ Spynfo because they

TREY:

It was a dig back, perhaps at saying, I imagine you're going to have a bad

TREY:

that's so funny to call someone a clown.

TREY:

Do you think?

TREY:

Yes, I agree.

TREY:

Do you think that, uh, Celeste is being like truthful or shady Right.

TREY:

I'm trying to, I'm trying to decipher what exactly happened.

TREY:

Cause Celeste is saying they reached out and then decided not to pursue

TREY:

And then it turned into name calling.

TREY:

I imagine that if DJ Spynfo was not available, then there's no reason to like a

TREY:

Cause I'm a not available.

TREY:

Like, I don't understand where I don't know how we got to that point, if it did in fact occur.

TREY:

So I'm really unsure.

TREY:

Celeste sort of um says both things here.

TREY:

Or the first sentence says, I decided not to utilize the service since it became apparent.

TREY:

His schedule was too busy, so that's not, not available just too busy.

TREY:

Once I declined his services, he reduced me himself to calling me ignorant.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

So that's different.

TREY:

So it's not that they weren't available.

TREY:

They are very busy that alarmed Celeste And so Celeste decided Celeste decided

TREY:

Maybe, maybe that is how this, how we led down this track.

TREY:

I don't know there's no contract, like who cares?

TREY:

mean, okay.

TREY:

Humor entertaining.

TREY:

I mean, the clown made me laugh.

TREY:

They need a joke writer.

TREY:

Script doctor.

TREY:

So do we care if you were Celeste's grandmother would you hang this on the fridge?

TREY:

do you think No Is it w what's the impact?

TREY:

Do you think this is the deal break?

TREY:

That's really interesting because I don't find it to be a deal breaker to me.

TREY:

I think there's some miscommunication here.

TREY:

They didn't even get the services.

TREY:

So to me, I would be like, okay, I'm going to, if I'm really into this DJ, then I

TREY:

that comes up for me too, because there's a lot of she doth protest too much going on.

TREY:

never once attacked him first.

TREY:

I don't know.

TREY:

I

CHELSEY:

I,

TREY:

it feels a little.

TREY:

I don't know, possibly,

TREY:

all right, Chelsey and I each have our own set of one to five crown cards and in an effort to be

TREY:

We will simultaneously reveal our rating Um, yeah, I'm ready.

TREY:

And Chelsey's holding up three crowns.

TREY:

I just did two because it feels a little, um, individual.

TREY:

to me I feel like even with the vibe conversation, perhaps Spynfo was very

TREY:

I don't know why I feel that way.

TREY:

I think because it's, his profile was littered with five star reviews.

TREY:

And so this does sort of look like an anomaly, which is a little bit of bias outside of.

TREY:

Uh, Celeste has written, I just said two cause it wasn't entertaining really and, uh,

TREY:

And, um, it wouldn't stop me from reaching out.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

All right.

TREY:

So first time, first time Chelsey I buried the lead here and there's actually a reply

TREY:

It's in your Google drive.

CHELSEY:

Oh

TREY:

we are, we have a reply from the vendor.

TREY:

So DJ Spynfo replied to Celeste's one-star review, and Chelsey's gonna cold-read it.

TREY:

Isn't that crazy.

CHELSEY:

if she

TREY:

It's really Savage of, um, DJ Spynfo to literally copy paste the email with

TREY:

Yeah, I also, I think that why it shifts everything for me are the

TREY:

This is completely inactive.

TREY:

I don't know why, but just saying these facts are inaccurate is kind of like

TREY:

Emotion.

TREY:

It's not like literally the vocabulary word inaccurate just sounds a very

TREY:

It's not like you're whack.

TREY:

What is rock?

TREY:

Like he mentioned that later.

TREY:

Look, the profession of being a DJ MC is charisma oozing out of every pore of

TREY:

And I feel taken care of and his reply for some reason, like, I feel like

TREY:

He acknowledges the inaccuracies.

TREY:

Doesn't really cop up to any of the necessary accusations, but points out their point of

TREY:

It's personality.

TREY:

It's not just a canned, so sorry for your experience right.

TREY:

It literally is like, why are you putting so much energy into this That's scary to me.

TREY:

if someone threatens me with that, I would, I would be scared.

TREY:

Wow.

TREY:

I hear you.

TREY:

All right.

TREY:

So why don't we take a quick little break?

TREY:

We'll come back and we'll hear a five-star side All right.

TREY:

We'll take a

CHELSEY:

back

TREY:

Yay All right.

TREY:

We're back from the break.

TREY:

And now it's time Chels for you to strap in on that pony.

TREY:

jump on the Meryl-Go-Round What animal am I on

TREY:

a horse with wings?

TREY:

I want to think of things like that.

TREY:

And other things, wait, this is controversial.

TREY:

But sometimes as a kid, when I would get on a carousel, I would sit on like the

TREY:

Youget on carosels You get on Well, I feel very secure on my Pegesus All right.

TREY:

So here we go.

TREY:

Just like queen Meryl, who does it all.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

So you'll go first or should I go first?

TREY:

Cause you did the reply.

TREY:

Let me go first.

TREY:

Cause I feel like you're so good at this.

TREY:

All right today, I have a one star zinger from amazon.com.

TREY:

This is for the novel to kill a Mockingbird.

TREY:

It's a one-star review.

TREY:

The subject is liked the movie better.

TREY:

And the review is wasn't that excited?

TREY:

Liked the movie better.

TREY:

I, am I'm ready.

TREY:

Yes.

TREY:

Wasn't that excited?

TREY:

I liked the movie Wasn't diode excited.

TREY:

A boy the movie better.

TREY:

Jesus.

TREY:

Wasn't that high.

TREY:

I wasn't that excited.

TREY:

I liked the movie better.

TREY:

Thank you.

TREY:

I really wanted to like honor trying to act it and I wasn't going speedy,

TREY:

So I'm proud of myself.

TREY:

I got five.

TREY:

Okay.

TREY:

So now Chelsey it's your turn.

TREY:

good luck.

TREY:

Film noir,

TREY:

opera, diva.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

1, 3, 4.

TREY:

You got four.

TREY:

That's good.

TREY:

That was a long one, too.

TREY:

feel like my televangelists was a little bit Southern, so which they're kind of

TREY:

So we Thank you.

TREY:

I'm curtsying.

TREY:

It's the pressure.

TREY:

It's the time.

TREY:

time.

TREY:

It's okay.

TREY:

We are measured by our greatness, not by one moment in time,

TREY:

Same All right.

TREY:

So now we're back from that really fun game break and, uh, it's time for the flip side

TREY:

that was right when we were being locked down in America.

TREY:

So, the wedding was two months prior.

TREY:

I love the visual of the Japanese mother and her Kimono swag.

TREY:

And, you know, I appreciate that.

TREY:

They point out that it's a diverse crowd, that he played a diverse amount of

TREY:

Correct.

TREY:

I agree.

TREY:

Yeah, it seems like exactly like a perfect five star review.

TREY:

Like that's exactly like they were really, really happy.

TREY:

Is it an, is it entertaining or humorous?

TREY:

I mean, I think the visual the

TREY:

mom Mm.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

And I liked the phrase from the good to the hood and also like it's a real strong visual

TREY:

Because You have to be like thoroughly the hit of the party for that to occur and for it to be

TREY:

You know what I mean?

TREY:

Like that's a real bolsterous life of the party, kick ass host, you know,

TREY:

I guess something to me for some reason.

TREY:

And I think that I'm totally leaning team DJ Spynfo Mr.

TREY:

Matrimony, but I don't know.

TREY:

There is something that's triggering me a little bit.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

Could this be a planted review because it's so.

TREY:

It hits every feel-good button and that it leads with how diverse the crowd was,

TREY:

Um, so maybe leading with that as like, maybe we are all more aware of that, but it occurs

TREY:

Uh, the person being hired potentially than someone that's in

TREY:

If that makes any sense, unless maybe in the, I mean, your wedding, it is suddenly

TREY:

So it really is an overwhelming sense that maybe you would start to really reflect like,

TREY:

If it's even valid, which is so odd.

TREY:

I mean, it like makes me, but then again, I do feel like the impact here for me is like, I want,

TREY:

Sorry.

TREY:

I hate wedding dancing.

TREY:

I hate it.

TREY:

I hate it.

CHELSEY:

Don't

TREY:

so my bias is like the facts that like, oh, there's a jamming dance party at my wedding.

TREY:

Like I would not be jealous.

TREY:

I would not want to enter the room.

TREY:

So, you know, but that being said.

TREY:

Are you not a dancer, either at weddings.

TREY:

Especially if it's a Jewish wedding and you have to do the Hora.

TREY:

Oh yeah.

TREY:

I it right, because I'm Southern.

TREY:

Sorry.

TREY:

Did you know that?

TREY:

At my wedding, we had a Mazingka dance.

TREY:

You know what that is.

TREY:

No.

TREY:

It's when the youngest child of parents is finally married off.

TREY:

It's an honorary procession for the parents I love when Jews don't know what that is.

TREY:

And I do.

TREY:

you know that my mother-in-law broke her nose during a Hora?

CHELSEY:

wedding

TREY:

Not at my wedding wait, hold on.

TREY:

I want to make sure that that's right.

TREY:

David, David, maybe he's downstairs.

TREY:

I don't know if she broke her nose or if she cut her face or, or she

TREY:

Cause I know that it was.

TREY:

No, I think it was her nose.

TREY:

Cause she like got hit in the Maybe it shouldn't break the nose.

TREY:

Maybe she got a bloody nose, whatever it's violent and horrifying.

CHELSEY:

she

TREY:

Did that come up?

TREY:

for you I do think it's important for the listener.

TREY:

The one star review was written in 2016 and this five star review was in 2020.

TREY:

So I don't think that this five-star is padding in response to the one-star that's many years apart.

TREY:

So, and there's many reviews between

TREY:

all of them, basically.

TREY:

Yeah.

TREY:

But going off of . LaQuwan I'm ready to crown it Okay.

TREY:

Let's do it.

TREY:

You got your cards.

TREY:

Honestly, because it's such a slam dunk review.

TREY:

It makes me a little suspect.

TREY:

That's why, I mean, I think it is, there are the spelling errors, so that that's part of it too.

TREY:

I wish they had done a pass with spell check, but I would need to look around and see like what

TREY:

I don't know why I'm being cynical, but that's why I gave it four.

TREY:

Excellent.

TREY:

I I'm curious now that we've done the five-star, the one-star and the reply from the vendor.

TREY:

What is your Chelsey Donn review queen?

TREY:

What do you think.

TREY:

I do want to just say that I have no idea who DJ Spynfo is.

TREY:

Neither does Chelsey It's totally a random, we are not an ad.

TREY:

We don't know them.

TREY:

I looked up.

TREY:

Their website and he has a video reel.

TREY:

I mean, he, it looks like a great hire.

TREY:

I mean, to me, I was like, oh, I would totally want to hire this person.

TREY:

And he's also very attractive as I've said before.

TREY:

I wonder if that's sort of in the mix here with Celeste.

TREY:

I don't know.

TREY:

I'm making that up.

TREY:

I'm putting it into the mix, but we I'll never know exactly what

TREY:

And that just is really highlighting why reviews can be really tricky and why you

TREY:

Where you should fall.

TREY:

And to me, and I agree with Chelsey here, I think that because Celeste stands

TREY:

I don't know.

TREY:

It just feels, I think, um, I feel badly that that exists on DJ Spynfo's theknot.com

TREY:

And if you listeners like this idea of doing one and a five, leave us a review

TREY:

You can leave us a voicemail.

TREY:

So we know if we should move forward with more of these one and fives.

TREY:

Awesome.

TREY:

So as we reached the end of today's episode Chels have you got any personal reviews for your week?

TREY:

Who are you inducting for this week's Wow.

TREY:

His name is Eric Williams and he is a podcaster and his podcast it's called that's a gay

TREY:

And they discussed the thing that made them gay.

TREY:

It's really funny, but I called him because I wanted to ask him a few questions about

TREY:

I'll get on a call.

TREY:

And, uh, we made a schedule and then I was available later that day and

TREY:

And he totally got on a call and shared a lot of.

TREY:

Top secrets a mensch top podcasters utilize and yes, he is a mensch He's a very wonderful,

TREY:

And anyway, I just wanted to take a moment on my podcast to acknowledge.
