I'm good.

Chelsey Donn:

I just wanted to be super comfy today.

Chelsey Donn:

So I figured I'd show I'm showing up to work in a calf tan guys.

Chelsey Donn:

Is that okay?

Chelsey Donn:

That's

Trey Gerrald:

of course.

Chelsey Donn:

I just wanted to be comfy.

Chelsey Donn:

I was feeling like I needed to be extra comfortable today and you look very comfy.

Chelsey Donn:

Might I say, are you wearing a fetch sweatshirt?

Trey Gerrald:

I am.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm wearing merch.

Chelsey Donn:

my God, you guys, I have to say beyond the fact that this

Chelsey Donn:

I'm obsessed with it.

Chelsey Donn:

I wear it all the time too.

Chelsey Donn:

It is so comfortable.

Chelsey Donn:

How comfortable are our Kvetch sweatshirts?

Trey Gerrald:

It really is crazy comfortable.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't have anything that's as soft as this.

Trey Gerrald:

And even David was like, what is this?

Trey Gerrald:

I was like, it's merch.

Trey Gerrald:

He's like, it's so soft.

Chelsey Donn:

I know my old roommate Gotti, if you're listening, hi Gotti, he's super

Chelsey Donn:

He's one of those people that like doesn't have a huge closet, but the few items that

Chelsey Donn:

He's like a little bit of a minimalist and he bought one of these Kvetch sweatshirts

Chelsey Donn:

He's like, this is like a James Pierce quality and that's coming from a hard judge.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know the brand, but it really is very soft.

Trey Gerrald:

It's unlike any other thing I have, but yes, I also, in addition to you

Trey Gerrald:

I had a friend in town who stayed with us.

Trey Gerrald:

We had a whole blast about.

Trey Gerrald:

Town going into Manhattan.

Trey Gerrald:

We

Trey Gerrald:

did an impromptu college reunion with people that are around.

Trey Gerrald:

And I had a great time.

Trey Gerrald:

This friend of mine, we went to college together.

Trey Gerrald:

We also went to middle school and high school.

Trey Gerrald:

I had a great time with my friend Francis who listens to the pod.

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, hi Francis.

Trey Gerrald:

She was like, I feel like I'm friends with Chelsey.

Trey Gerrald:

And I was like, you are,

Chelsey Donn:

you are.

Chelsey Donn:

Hi Francis.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm so glad we're friends.

Trey Gerrald:

how was your week?

Chelsey Donn:

My week was good, busy, busy, you know, back in the season of, of work and,

Chelsey Donn:

But, I mean, I have been having something I've wanted to talk to about, and I've like saved it

Chelsey Donn:

So if it's okay with you.

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's go ahead and.

VoiceOver:

Lodge Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

So I used to go to the movies all the time, pre COVID, but I have not been going

Chelsey Donn:

So I found a theater that was playing top gun.

Chelsey Donn:

It was.

Chelsey Donn:

My friends and I were excited.

Chelsey Donn:

Girls night out, everything was seeming good.

Chelsey Donn:

About five minutes in an entire row of people walk in, you know, the movie's just

Chelsey Donn:

What's the plot?

Chelsey Donn:

You know, Tom cruise is on screen and.

Chelsey Donn:

The person has like their flashlight on and they're trying to find the seat

Chelsey Donn:

And then they're like whispering, but like really loud whispering.

Chelsey Donn:

And that like at another point, like in the middle of the movie, one of them left and

Chelsey Donn:

And I got 10% off, like literally in the middle of the movie.

Trey Gerrald:

no.

Chelsey Donn:

Like hello?

Chelsey Donn:

Who raised these people?

Chelsey Donn:

They were probably in their twenties.

Chelsey Donn:

I was just trying to think, like, did I behave like that?

Chelsey Donn:

Like, I don't think I was ever that disrespectful

Trey Gerrald:

Hm.

Chelsey Donn:

the sanctity of the movie theater, like.

Trey Gerrald:

Hmm.

Chelsey Donn:

We're here.

Chelsey Donn:

We're trying to enjoy this moment.

Chelsey Donn:

We're trying to all focus on the same thing.

Chelsey Donn:

All we do all day long is like, we're on the phone.

Chelsey Donn:

We're so distracted.

Chelsey Donn:

We're talking we're whatever.

Chelsey Donn:

Like this is the time when we get to just turn it all off.

Chelsey Donn:

And pay attention to this art that I dedicate my life to, that you dedicate your life to.

Chelsey Donn:

And these people are back there.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, why are you here?

Chelsey Donn:

You could literally be anywhere.

Chelsey Donn:

You could be anywhere, but here, but you're here.

Chelsey Donn:

And you're ruining this experience.

Chelsey Donn:

And at one point, I mean, I really had to hold together cuz I like, you know, I'm

Chelsey Donn:

I'm trying not to be the old lady.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm really I'm trying, but I had to shush.

Chelsey Donn:

At one point I had to shush.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

It got outta control.

Chelsey Donn:

And I, I gave a, you know, just like a little, little

Trey Gerrald:

they respond?

Chelsey Donn:

they got quiet and then it was one of those recliner chairs.

Chelsey Donn:

And so like, I pressed my recliner chair and it made like a fart sound

Chelsey Donn:

And so then they were like, sh you.

Chelsey Donn:

But like, what the heck?

Chelsey Donn:

Like why, why, why do people do this?

Chelsey Donn:

Like, it's really graining to me.

Chelsey Donn:

Is it graining to you?

Chelsey Donn:

Trey?

Trey Gerrald:

okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Well, I just have to show you that written on my

Chelsey Donn:

No, stop it.

Chelsey Donn:

You're lying to

Trey Gerrald:

Literally my Complaint today is opening candy at a Broadway musical

Chelsey Donn:

my God.

Trey Gerrald:

because David and I had the amazing opportunity to see a very good friend of ours.

Trey Gerrald:

Play the role of Evan Hanson in the musical.

Trey Gerrald:

Dear Evan Hanson on the great white way.

Trey Gerrald:

We were in the third row with vocalist of our theme song, Natalie Weiss.

Trey Gerrald:

And I mean, I could talk about that performance as a Royal Highness.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know if the listeners have seen dear Evan Hansen, there was a film.

Trey Gerrald:

It is an outrageous performance that requires so much emotional access on top of

Trey Gerrald:

The, the task is so absurd.

Trey Gerrald:

I remember when we saw Ben Ette afterwards, we were like, how will

Chelsey Donn:

I know

Trey Gerrald:

how anyone else can do this.

Chelsey Donn:

I saw Ben in it and I was like, that was the best thing I've ever seen on stage.

Chelsey Donn:

Like the acting, the like snot,

Trey Gerrald:

So it, without spoilers, there is the whole show is about some deception.

Trey Gerrald:

And so there is this incredible 11 o'clock number where Evan Hanson is revealing the deception.

Trey Gerrald:

And this is a number where the character is literally snot crying

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

and belting.

Trey Gerrald:

Simultaneously.

Trey Gerrald:

And we literally, I, I can't even make this up.

Trey Gerrald:

We're in the third row and there are these two tourists in front of us.

Trey Gerrald:

And they literally in the vamp silence when the character is like

Chelsey Donn:

Oh no.

Trey Gerrald:

you hear this.

Trey Gerrald:

And I was like, no, Natalie smacked my thigh.

Trey Gerrald:

So fucking hard.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm like, yes, bitch.

Trey Gerrald:

I am hearing it too.

Chelsey Donn:

in the room.

Trey Gerrald:

He starts belting really high and crying.

Trey Gerrald:

And then we hear this.

Trey Gerrald:

It was like a three parter.

Trey Gerrald:

They had to like wiggle the paper candy out of the purse.

Trey Gerrald:

Then they had to open the paper candy.

Trey Gerrald:

Then they had to put the candy in their teeth and make crazy clicking sounds.

Trey Gerrald:

At the point in the show where been plat, one of Tony, it was, I could not believe it Chelsey.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like also that is a moment where you are waiting the entire show, especially if.

Trey Gerrald:

Have seen that, you know, that this outrageous moment is about to happen.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like the defining moment it's as if seeing wicked and you're getting to define

Chelsey Donn:

a fine gravity.

Trey Gerrald:

and there's a blackout, right.

Trey Gerrald:

Or it's like, you're going to see dream girls.

Trey Gerrald:

And you're about to hear, and I am telling you, and, um, F he loses her voice.

Trey Gerrald:

Like, it's just like we have arrived at the moment that will live in

Chelsey Donn:

at the like pin ultimate moment, the moment the

Trey Gerrald:

And we're seeing our friend in the role on Broadway.

Trey Gerrald:

So can't!', I, I can't, I don't understand also, like I like similar to your people.

Trey Gerrald:

It's like, I don't understand the, um, need to do it, especially like at such a pivotal moment.

Trey Gerrald:

Like you're in the show.

Trey Gerrald:

This is a three hour musical we're at two and a half hours.

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm making those numbers up.

Trey Gerrald:

Like you're in the plot of the story.

Trey Gerrald:

Now you need a candy also, the minute you hear how loud the candy is, how do you not just stop?

Chelsey Donn:

that's like what I'm wondering, cuz it's like we, we talked about, we had the

Chelsey Donn:

You're loud.

Chelsey Donn:

And sometimes I feel like people can be loud without realizing it.

Chelsey Donn:

But with the sounds that were coming at the movies, and it sounds like also in your

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Of like sounds how are you not hearing that?

Chelsey Donn:

And, and like having some sort of like, Ooh, like I can hear it.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, if I can hear it, everybody else can hear it too.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, I will.

Trey Gerrald:

I will never be.

Trey Gerrald:

Confident enough in my life to not be aware of the impact I'm having on people around me, famous

Trey Gerrald:

I can hear you.

Trey Gerrald:

It's

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

loud in a movie theater is so offensive.

Trey Gerrald:

Being loud in a theater is

Chelsey Donn:

SAC,

Trey Gerrald:

so UN it's just the absurd it's absurd.

Trey Gerrald:

So that's my Complaint

Chelsey Donn:

Oh, my God.

Chelsey Donn:

That is really weird that we both have the same Complaint.

Trey Gerrald:

so weird.

Trey Gerrald:

But there are even, I've been to the theater before where the pre-show announcement is

Trey Gerrald:

Like they've even

Chelsey Donn:

They added that to the, to the vernacular.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, it's in

Trey Gerrald:

it's like even more of a double offense.

Trey Gerrald:

Anyway, that's my Complaint.

Chelsey Donn:

Ugh.

Trey Gerrald:

I'm glad that we both simultaneously agree

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, obviously I hear you.

Chelsey Donn:

Who are these people or is it just cuz all of us have been inside that now

Chelsey Donn:

We don't realize how we're supposed to act.

Trey Gerrald:

David thought that it was maybe a cough drop, but I don't remember

Trey Gerrald:

So I'm like, Regardless,

Chelsey Donn:

a David reply in that.

Trey Gerrald:

until there's applause or wait until there's a swell of music.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't do it in the literal silence where the person is crying.

Chelsey Donn:

is so sweet to be like, maybe they had a terrible cough

Trey Gerrald:

it was really absurd though.

Trey Gerrald:

It was like, even with his positivity, it was like, are you kidding me?

Chelsey Donn:

But I think the problem is both in this case and my case, and

Chelsey Donn:

So first of all, like you're so close to the stage, which is like, so egregious and terrible.

Trey Gerrald:

Also, we were not center.

Trey Gerrald:

We were literally like on the side, but we were the seats, like towards the center.

Trey Gerrald:

So we were on the aisle right there.

Trey Gerrald:

He was literally in front of,

Chelsey Donn:

That song happens on to the like stage,

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

He was like five feet away from us.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, it was like, it was unnervingly close.

Trey Gerrald:

I, I was

Chelsey Donn:

you're like that close.

Chelsey Donn:

So you'd think at that point, like,

Trey Gerrald:

in a conversation with the performer.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, you are, but also you think at that point you'd wanna be there.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, for me, I was like, with these, like with these kids, I'm like, maybe

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe they've like, top gun has been out for like a century.

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe they've seen it already, like, you know,

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

I think it just comes down to people don't realize how loud they are or they don't

Trey Gerrald:

That's what I think the kids' problem is.

Trey Gerrald:

And that's what these tourists, I think they just were like, we're at world boy.

Trey Gerrald:

They weren't Southern by the way.

Chelsey Donn:

Quick story.

Chelsey Donn:

And Emily crater will remember this.

Chelsey Donn:

There was this lovely elderly couple that used to go to all the shows at Strausberg

Chelsey Donn:

They would fall asleep in the first row and like snore, like loudly, like

Chelsey Donn:

It was like a Rite of passage.

Chelsey Donn:

You're like, oh, they're here.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

So I will just act over the storing.

Chelsey Donn:

I will project

Trey Gerrald:

snoring.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

We were told before, like Donn, don't take offense to this.

Chelsey Donn:

This is like nothing to do with your acting.

Chelsey Donn:

Like these people are, they come to all the shows, but they just, they, they always fall asleep.

Trey Gerrald:

I bet they were like donors too.

Trey Gerrald:

So they couldn't say

Chelsey Donn:

too.

Chelsey Donn:

Exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

I have to talk to Emily about that anyway, back onto the subject of why we do this

Chelsey Donn:

Should we dive in?

Trey Gerrald:

do it.

Trey Gerrald:

Let's jump into some online reviews, diva.

VoiceOver:

Review That Review.

Chelsey Donn:

As you know, we are your trustee review Queens.

Chelsey Donn:

We bring in reviews from the internet that we feel need to be inspected.

Trey Gerrald:

We read you a review, we break it down and then we rate the impact of that

Trey Gerrald:

This is a scientific scale that we call

VoiceOver:

that Kvetch.

Chelsey Donn:

There's a lot of science involved.

Chelsey Donn:

So with all that science in mind, what is it that we are going to inspect today?

Chelsey Donn:

Trey?

Trey Gerrald:

Well, I don't know if you recognize, but today is our 69th episode.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah,

Trey Gerrald:

And what do you think of when you think of the number 69?

Chelsey Donn:

personally, I think of like cancer, cause that's my sign

Trey Gerrald:

Uh,

Chelsey Donn:

and it's like a 69, but I also, the

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, like,

Chelsey Donn:

act.

Trey Gerrald:

wait cancer is a 69.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

It's one of 'em

Trey Gerrald:

Wait, cuz Pisces is like two fish that look like a 69.

Chelsey Donn:

Pisces is two fish.

Chelsey Donn:

Cancer is a 69 as well.

Chelsey Donn:

I think it's cuz like we're yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

Cancer 69.

Trey Gerrald:

Geminis duplicitous.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

They're like two sides, but I think it's cuz like we can't we're like givers.

Chelsey Donn:

We can't like receive without giving back.

Chelsey Donn:

That's how I like to think of

Trey Gerrald:

Uh, okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So whenever you hear the number 69, you think of your astrology sign.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, I like, I think of that.

Chelsey Donn:

And then obviously the sexual

Trey Gerrald:

Oh, you do.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes,

Trey Gerrald:

some reason when I hear 69, I think of sex too.

Trey Gerrald:

So today I have brought in

Chelsey Donn:

could I not.

Trey Gerrald:

two star Yelp review for the museum of sex.

Chelsey Donn:

Woo wanna know something very weird.

Chelsey Donn:

I actually was like looking this up for reviews this week.

Chelsey Donn:

So

Trey Gerrald:

Real.

Chelsey Donn:

are weirdly in sync.

Chelsey Donn:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

I love it.

Chelsey Donn:

Is it a two star or a two dot

Trey Gerrald:

This is a two star it's on Yelp and this is written by KT F but it's

Chelsey Donn:

K

Trey Gerrald:

KT.

Chelsey Donn:

KTF like KFC, but KTF.

Trey Gerrald:

Just like

Chelsey Donn:

Just like,

Trey Gerrald:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

So here we go.

Trey Gerrald:

This is, oh, well, I, I think maybe the title goes to show, but if anyone is unaware, there is

Trey Gerrald:

Called the museum of sex.

Trey Gerrald:

So this is KTS review.

Chelsey Donn:

okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Most sex is the kind of place that you are let down by, but can't really complain

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

That kind of place.

Chelsey Donn:

Wait, what?

Chelsey Donn:

Wait, could you start over?

Chelsey Donn:

Start over.

Chelsey Donn:

Thank you.

Chelsey Donn:

Just start.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Trey Gerrald:

Mo sex.

Trey Gerrald:

Is the kind of place that you are let down by, but can't really complain about

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Trey Gerrald:

That kind of place.

Trey Gerrald:

First exhibit gift shop.

Trey Gerrald:

Most interesting thing here is the herbal aphrodisiacs.

Trey Gerrald:

Other than that, the usual array of novelty, sex gags com rags high gloss

Trey Gerrald:

Three out of ten second exhibit Linda Lovelace, basically a biography of her sad life and a giant

Trey Gerrald:

Lots of shock value, but no substance two out of ten third exhibit, this was the Funland

Trey Gerrald:

Best part was the bouncy house.

Trey Gerrald:

Novel, but only about 10 minutes worth.

Trey Gerrald:

It left a lot to be desired four out of ten fourth, exhibit animals, sexuality.

Trey Gerrald:

Now this was the most informative and educational part and I appreciated it the most.

Trey Gerrald:

There were beautiful 3d models of the animals and even a few informative videos.

Trey Gerrald:

Nine out of 10, fifth exhibit sexual quote, unquote oddities.

Trey Gerrald:

Very few were actual oddities, some sex dolls, some dildos attached to a thing.

Trey Gerrald:

Some vintage porn comics and a dress made of condoms felt like

Trey Gerrald:

Three out of 10.

Trey Gerrald:

The admission charge was pretty high for the sort of stuff we saw.

Trey Gerrald:

If I had to describe Mo sex in one word, it would be gimmick.

Trey Gerrald:

Don't come here.

Trey Gerrald:

If you are serious about sex ed, or want to see anything you couldn't see on your

Trey Gerrald:

All caps.

Trey Gerrald:

Here's how to get the most sex experience for free one.

Trey Gerrald:

Google, how animals have sex?

Trey Gerrald:

Two Google Linda Lovelace biography three Google condom dress.

Trey Gerrald:

your local sex toy shop.

Chelsey Donn:

Wow.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

All right.

Chelsey Donn:

KTF so this is two stars, right?

Trey Gerrald:

two.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

right.

Chelsey Donn:

I didn't, I don't think I caught on to the two outta 10 rule until like the second or third one.

Chelsey Donn:

So I know we did a two outta 10, a four outta 10, a nine out 10 and a three outta 10.

Trey Gerrald:

the gift shop they gave a three out of 10.

Chelsey Donn:

Okay.

Chelsey Donn:

Am I missing any other ones?

Trey Gerrald:

think that's it.

Chelsey Donn:

I Donn don't think that that averages to choose stars.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, maybe we're talking about 10, so I guess we have to divide by two.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

I didn't wanna do math.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

I thought this was interesting.

Chelsey Donn:

I wanted to say that the idea of breaking it up into categories and doing the like

Trey Gerrald:

Yes.

Chelsey Donn:

I like that KTF took us through, like the various rooms gave a lot of information

Chelsey Donn:

I think that that's good because I mean, I guess animal sexuality, you know, was KTFS thing.

Chelsey Donn:

So for them, they did have a nine out of 10 experience in at least one of the exhibits.

Chelsey Donn:

That's where I'm, I'm wondering if this should be a two star, but then it really

Chelsey Donn:

Is that what you're saying?

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

So it's capital M O capital se X, which I've never heard this called Moss

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I, I, first I thought I was like very confused.

Chelsey Donn:

Cause I thought you said most sex is the kind of like, as if like they're Carrie Bradshaw, all of a

Chelsey Donn:

Like, and I was like, wait, what am I talking about?

Trey Gerrald:

couldn't help, but wonder

Chelsey Donn:

couldn't help, but wonder is Mo sex.

Trey Gerrald:

proper abbreviation.

Chelsey Donn:

Exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

So that sort of distracted me, I guess, at the top.

Chelsey Donn:

Maybe if I was reading it, it would've been different.

Chelsey Donn:

Did you like, did it stop you when you first got to it?

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, because I don't know that I've ever seen it called Mo sex also.

Trey Gerrald:

There's no O in the word museum, wouldn't it be Mo

Chelsey Donn:

I guess it's mu they're, they're using the, oh, it's like museum of sex,

Trey Gerrald:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz you wouldn't capitalize the O

Chelsey Donn:

right?

Trey Gerrald:

but then wouldn't it be Moss MOS.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

Also, why are you, why are you shortening museums?

Trey Gerrald:

Shouldn't you be shortening sex?

Trey Gerrald:

I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

Most sex is very confusing, especially when you're reading it out on a podcast.

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz it sounds like you're saying more sex.

Chelsey Donn:

yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

More sex or most I wrote down most sex at first.

Chelsey Donn:

Like I Donn don't know, but anyway, that was definitely confusing.

Chelsey Donn:

I Donn know.

Chelsey Donn:

I think it's super interesting that KTF is such a hater.

Chelsey Donn:

They described a lot of things that I don't think you'd have in your normal

Chelsey Donn:

I think a lot of these museums and I think museum of sex is sort of like an earlier on.

Chelsey Donn:

They they're sort of like Instagram museums at a certain

Trey Gerrald:

It feels like

Chelsey Donn:

And someone's gonna wanna take a picture of themselves

Trey Gerrald:

Which they don't include that in the list at the end.

Trey Gerrald:

Cuz you can't get the experience

Chelsey Donn:

exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

And then also I just thought, is that a good point?

Chelsey Donn:

Because it's like, yeah, well, you don't have to go to the, you know, the met either.

Chelsey Donn:

You could Google, you know what I mean?

Chelsey Donn:

Like you could really say that about anything like Google it, like, read about the artist,

Chelsey Donn:

And I don't know, I think that the idea.

Chelsey Donn:

A museum is a collection of items.

Chelsey Donn:

So like, yeah, you could Google this and Google that and go to the sex shop and

Chelsey Donn:

I think more if KTF had spent more time talking about they don't address kink,

Chelsey Donn:

If more of the focus had been.

Chelsey Donn:

I think I could have been with them, but because, you know, they're sort of just knocking, it

Chelsey Donn:

And like, I, I just, I never think you're gonna get the same experience from

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, it is interesting that they left the experience feeling

Trey Gerrald:

There's also like this was a very common theme in the review.

Trey Gerrald:

As I was purveying for today, many people really were disappointed in the actual education from the

Trey Gerrald:

And so I was really sort of like, Doing an evaluation on myself of like, what would I

Trey Gerrald:

All of the branding is very bright, very colorful.

Trey Gerrald:

Like I'm trying to weigh like separating the disappointment of having gone, but

Chelsey Donn:

right, right, right.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I think that if a lot of other reviewers are saying that, and KTF said

Chelsey Donn:

Something that the people want.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, I think a lot of people are gonna come because it's like a

Chelsey Donn:

Or like, there are gonna be a lot, a lot of people that are just gonna go because

Chelsey Donn:

Like there's gonna be all kinds of people that are more casual, but that being said, If you are

Chelsey Donn:

That's like you Donn don't have to go into that kink room, but you can, or even if it was

Chelsey Donn:

And then if you're like more vanilla or more like whatever, you can just go through the regular.

Chelsey Donn:

General area, because it seems like that's the main reason that KTF has an issue with this.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like, I'm a master of sex.

Chelsey Donn:

That's why I came here.

Chelsey Donn:

I didn't learn anything new.

Chelsey Donn:

I saw a bunch of like, what did she, what did she say?

Trey Gerrald:

Right.

Trey Gerrald:

It's the place that you're let down by, but you can't really complain because

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah, I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I don't really know exactly what we're getting at, but I yeah, go.

Trey Gerrald:

well, to the, all of this point, do you think that the information that

Trey Gerrald:

Uh,

Chelsey Donn:

I think it is, but like maybe I, I wonder if the intention was there.

Chelsey Donn:

Right?

Chelsey Donn:

Cause like, I think that the, they gave the whole bouncy house rock climbing wall.

Chelsey Donn:

They gave that four outta 10, but like.

Chelsey Donn:

I thought that was really cool.

Chelsey Donn:

Like, I wouldn't have thought that the museum of sex would've had that, honestly, I would've

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

So like I thought it would be like, sort of this, you know, walk through museum

Chelsey Donn:

I Donn know, but like just, I thought it

Trey Gerrald:

more buttoned up

Chelsey Donn:

a little more, yeah, a little more like.

Chelsey Donn:

We're not really giving you anything other than like the imagery on the wall or the

Chelsey Donn:

And I didn't know that that was a thing until we read KTFS review.

Chelsey Donn:

So I do think there's like information to be gained here.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

So they do call that area Funland, which is part of their publicity too.

Trey Gerrald:

It's sort of like Funland at the museum of sex, which is really full of all of the sort

Trey Gerrald:

And they are like photo ops as well.

Trey Gerrald:

But you, you just made me think of something interesting.

Trey Gerrald:

The whole thing is like this isn't worth it.

Trey Gerrald:

The only good part.

Trey Gerrald:

Is Funland, but they're giving that four out of 10, which is interesting.

Chelsey Donn:

but beyond them, giving it up four to 10 then, yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

Then they're giving animal sexuality nine out of 10.

Chelsey Donn:

Why?

Chelsey Donn:

Because there was like the most information.

Trey Gerrald:

It seems that that's what they're getting at.

Trey Gerrald:

There was a more, the most amount of substantive information to learn

Trey Gerrald:

Which I have also garnered is no longer there.

Trey Gerrald:

They do like change some of the exhibits out.

Trey Gerrald:

I believe the Linda Lovelace exhibit is no longer there.

Trey Gerrald:

It's something new.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

I just thought it was like funny to be like Google, the dress made of condoms.

Chelsey Donn:

It's like, again, like, yeah, you could Google it or you could see it.

Chelsey Donn:

I kind of wanna see it.

Chelsey Donn:

Like how did you make a dress full of, I don't know.

Trey Gerrald:

And I also like their fourth point of how to get the experience for

Trey Gerrald:

It feels to me like there's something a little less dark or ski V or gross about a

Trey Gerrald:

Like,

Chelsey Donn:

I do think that I do feel like it's not, the review is not addressing all audiences.

Chelsey Donn:

Cuz I think like there's gonna be all kinds of people that are here.

Chelsey Donn:

Like some people, like I said, bachelorette, or they're like more

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know.

Chelsey Donn:

I think we can't, we can't conflate the two things.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't think like a sex shop and a sex museum.

Chelsey Donn:

Shouldn't be the same thing in my mind.

Trey Gerrald:

And then as far as spelling and grammar, it's pretty great.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, there aren't issues other than Mosac.

Trey Gerrald:

I did think that there was like a literary convention where if you use an abbreviation,

Trey Gerrald:

To like set up the reader that this is what you're doing, but if you're at the museum

Chelsey Donn:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

I, I caught on, yeah, I caught on eventually, but I was like,

Trey Gerrald:

Right.

Trey Gerrald:

It's literally the first word.

Trey Gerrald:

And I don't know that I've ever seen that before, so, Hmm.

Trey Gerrald:

I, I mean, I do think that KT is being truthful.

Trey Gerrald:

I think this is truly their experience.

Chelsey Donn:

for sure.

Trey Gerrald:

Is this gonna be common?

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, I can sort of say from looking at a lot of reviews and maybe you as well this

Chelsey Donn:

You think that's a common experience?

Chelsey Donn:

I mean, I wasn't really getting into the nitty gritty of the reviews.

Chelsey Donn:

I just literally like had it on a list.

Chelsey Donn:

Um, and go and put it into TripAdvisor, which honestly Tripad advisor

Chelsey Donn:

So it's sort of interesting cuz we were looking two different sources.

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know that everybody on TripAdvisor felt that way, but I think a lot of people

Trey Gerrald:

And they say that at the bottom line, is that it's gimmicky?

Trey Gerrald:

Well, it is.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, it's, you're going to the museum of sex.

Trey Gerrald:

It's gonna be gimmicky.

Trey Gerrald:

I imagine.

Chelsey Donn:

that is.

Chelsey Donn:

It it's like, I, I believe them that it is gimmicky.

Chelsey Donn:

I'm sure it is.

Chelsey Donn:

But if I think museum of sex, do I think gimmicky?

Chelsey Donn:

Yes, I do.

Trey Gerrald:

Right.

Chelsey Donn:

So then does it bother me?

Chelsey Donn:

You know, I Donn.

Chelsey Donn:

Well, this

Trey Gerrald:

occurred to me in this conversation.

Trey Gerrald:

Like even it being called museum of sex, not museum of human sexuality, like it

Trey Gerrald:

It's sort of a colloquial term.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, sex is the word, but like it already in the whole branding, it feels.

Trey Gerrald:

Instagramable.

Trey Gerrald:

So, but does that mean you can't have a lot of knowledge there?

Trey Gerrald:

No.

Chelsey Donn:

like a good cautionary warning for people going to the museum is like, if

Trey Gerrald:

Right.

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, the humor, not really a lot of humor necessarily.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah.

Trey Gerrald:

I was entertained cuz they're literally walking me through each exhibit.

Trey Gerrald:

So I found that to be pretty valuable.

Trey Gerrald:

And then I don't know, I feel like the impact here is like, this is a two star and I feel

Chelsey Donn:

I didn't like that.

Chelsey Donn:

I thought that was a little shady

Trey Gerrald:

a little shady, right?

Trey Gerrald:

Like, yeah.

Chelsey Donn:

first I thought I was like, oh, are they gonna like tell us to go

Chelsey Donn:

Like I, you know, I thought maybe they were gonna give like a tip for how to get, and then

Chelsey Donn:

It was shady.

Trey Gerrald:

Yeah, it's a little condescending to be like, just Google it.

Chelsey Donn:

Yeah,

Trey Gerrald:

I Donn know.

Trey Gerrald:

All right.

Trey Gerrald:

I think I could crown KT.

Trey Gerrald:

How do you.

Chelsey Donn:

I think I can definitely crown KTF.

Trey Gerrald:

All right, let's do it.

Trey Gerrald:

So Chelsey and I each have our own set of zero to five crown cards in an effort to

Trey Gerrald:

We will simultaneously reveal our rating.

VoiceOver:

The Queens are Tabulating.

VoiceOver:

So to school,

Chelsey Donn:

Okay, I'm holding up three crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

Trey is holding up four crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

I went with three crowns because I Donn don't know that KCF really represents

Chelsey Donn:

I did take a point off for the most sex thing, being a little bit confusing.

Chelsey Donn:

And also I just.

Chelsey Donn:

They were a little shady there in the end.

Chelsey Donn:

So that's where my crowns were coming off.

Chelsey Donn:

But I did like the fact that they did this two outta 10, five outta 10 rubric, I thought

Chelsey Donn:

And I did gather a lot of information from the review.

Chelsey Donn:

So for me, that's where the three crowns are coming from.

Chelsey Donn:

But you went with four crowns.

Chelsey Donn:

Why to do that for KTF.

Trey Gerrald:

So I just Googled Mo sex.

Trey Gerrald:

And literally the first thing that comes up is the museum of sex.

Trey Gerrald:

So maybe, yeah, it says like the museum of

Trey Gerrald:

sex.

Chelsey Donn:

be people like us that are looking,

Trey Gerrald:

But it says.

Chelsey Donn:

if they like wrote museum of sex, parentheses, most sex.

Chelsey Donn:

And then like, then we would've known.

Trey Gerrald:

right.

Trey Gerrald:

It says it's also known as Mo act, but here we are two of us and we've never heard of

Trey Gerrald:

The concept of like, you can't really complain because of the inflatable boobs.

Trey Gerrald:

So I'll give it to stars.

Trey Gerrald:

But I think like my opinion of what the museum of sex is, has probably been impacted by KTF

Trey Gerrald:

And ultimately like, you know, it's for the experience, it's not for like actual

Trey Gerrald:

I mean, we do have these little computers in our hands, you know, so I Donn know.

Chelsey Donn:

if you can't spare an afternoon to not look at your phone.

Trey Gerrald:

Exactly.

Chelsey Donn:

then maybe you don't belong in the museum.

Trey Gerrald:

But I did think these reviews would be much more ripe with like immature

Trey Gerrald:

And a lot of them really felt very straightforward to me, which I don't know what

Trey Gerrald:

So that's why I said four.

Chelsey Donn:

I think it was a good review.

Chelsey Donn:

All in all.

Chelsey Donn:

I really do.

Chelsey Donn:

I think it was solid.

Chelsey Donn:

And even where I disagreed, I, I think ATF did a good job.

Trey Gerrald:

Good J Katie.

Chelsey Donn:

J KTF

Trey Gerrald:

Well, alright, so that was, um, our celebration of our 69th episode.

Trey Gerrald:

So ChelseyBD with that in mind.

Chelsey Donn:

I agree.

Trey Gerrald:

we have reached our most Regal portion.

Trey Gerrald:

So who are you gonna induct today for?

VoiceOver:

My Royal line.

Chelsey Donn:

This feels like a little strange.

Chelsey Donn:

I didn't realize this was the 69th episode, like in my head.

Chelsey Donn:

So like, let's not, let's try not to color, um, my induction with that, but I did feel like

Chelsey Donn:

I've been wanting to do this and I just haven't done it yet.

Chelsey Donn:

And I have to induct David Perlman.

Trey Gerrald:

oh,

Chelsey Donn:

our Royal Highness this week, we did a second photo shoot with

Chelsey Donn:

I don't know if you guys have been seeing some of the photos we've been rolling

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

David's incredible.

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

Chelsey Donn:

So David Perlman, it is our extreme honor to induct you as our Royal Highness.

Chelsey Donn:

Love you.

Trey Gerrald:

That's so nice.

Trey Gerrald:

David Perlman.

Trey Gerrald:

We actually, um, we have a never before released episode that we did with

Chelsey Donn:

we've inducted him officially.

Trey Gerrald:

maybe we'll have to pull that out one

Chelsey Donn:

I think we should

Trey Gerrald:

but yes, obviously I concur.

Trey Gerrald:

I married the person for, I was gonna say FSE.

Chelsey Donn:
