Cancelled for Maintenance

Almost every trade requires a certification to perform the work but getting them can be a journey of its own. What’s worse is some people tend to horde all the work once they are qualified.

Show Notes

To excel in a trade, you will need to attain certain certifications, licenses, and qualifications.  Getting these certs (and so forth) is a long road, some could take you upwards of 16 years depending on where and what trade you are in.  This is assuming you have ready access to the training or schooling required to get them.  Some certification requirements have limited training seats, some have limited funding, and some only happen once in a while.  What makes matters worse is those who do get certified tend to horde all the knowledge and work to themselves, thus limiting others to take part in required work to gain said knowledge and experience.  To add more salt to the wound, some individuals will drag their feet and take forever to gain certain licenses/qualifications to AVOID taking on more work!
