We have made jokes in some of our previous episodes about having R2-D2 astromech robots to partner with us and perform aircraft maintenance. While having autonomous machines performing human-level maintenance may seem far away, there are robots in use today that aid in our performance upkeep tasks! From crawling spider bots to quad-copter hull scanners, future is fast becoming the now!
