Andrew Leedom is a husband and father of four who transitioned from structural engineering to full time commercial real estate to maximize his time, talents, and resources. He is the founder of Self Storage Stewardship and has partnered with Community Investment Group, a company that provides investment opportunities including multi-family, hotel conversions, and self-storage, to build their self-storage division.
In this episode, Andrew talks
about mindset and how it affects our success. He shares two books
that have a significant impact on his life in the past year, and
explains how focusing on the gap between where we are and where we
want to be can be motivating. By understanding our progress and
staying focused on our goals, we can make more progress towards our
dreams. He discusses the idea that it is beneficial to focus on
“Yep” instead of “Nah”. He points out that this mindset can help to
ease stress and encourage productivity. He mentions that research
has shown that focusing on “Yep’s” can increase motivation and
creativity. He stresses the importance of delegation, where
investors can free up more time to focus on other important aspects
of their life such as exploring their passions or pursuing their
dreams. To learn more about Andrew and his work, listeners can
