We explore the world of branched-chain amino acid (BCAA) & essential amino acid (EAA) supplementation. You'll often see language such as "waste of money" or "pi*sing away your money" etc. While there is some substance behind those comments it really does come down to context. We have found some potential benefits to taking BCAA & EAAs and also have a brand new research paper that bolsters these claims! All research papers stated in the episode can be found at the bottom!
We also take another look at NOCCO. This is a beverage made popular by CrossFit - it contains BCAAs and caffeine and you'll often see CrossFitters sipping away at gyms/events. Will we get that mega sponsorship? Probably not...Tom is magic with words "tastes like piss"
