A big selling point is that CBD "supposedly" offers some of the positive effects of THC such as pain relief and relaxation without the negative stuff. Basically, people see CBD as a safe mild non-intoxicating alternative to THC and weed.
A reason we wanted to tackle this topic is due to numerous "notable" athletes promoting CBD related products. There is a lot of money to be made! (approx 25 billion dollars by 2027 according to some) so, of course, notable individuals wanna get in on it. Should you listen to them?
The claims we tackle are
- Anxiety
- Pain/Inflammation
- Epilepsy
- Cancer
- Sports/Drug Testing
Some pretty big buzz words there and it's really important we tackle this correctly and with the latest scientific data! Spoiler alert it's not looking good for this very expensive product!
